Thanks for the Retweet @vintagevantage [7] that’s so cool (spreading the video to the followers of Vintage Vantage)! I got the new Power Twitter after it was recommended on there by @akeirans [8]. Radio listeners you can now send comments and requests to me on Twitter @dgold [6] if you use that micro-messaging site!
I invited special guests Joey Farr (on 7 string guitar) and the Fuggins Wheat Band to hang out in the Honest FM studio for an interview and live performance on the air. You gotta hear this loopy arse music, it’s something else I tell you. The band is coming to town to play the radio show one day in advance of their concert Wednesday January 7th at George’s Majestic Lounge.

Comments / feedback welcome, hope you enjoy the music and interviews.
This YouTube of Joey Farr was the first time I have synched up radio show audio with handheld digital camera video. I used Windows Movie Maker, which comes with Vista.

Hope you go Jrmac… I can tell them my buddy from some KC bands is planning to be there if you’d like. We were chatting about, well basically the convo was like this:
“It would be awesome if 1/2 the people who were listening to the radio show came to our show tonight”
“Actually it would be awesome if 1 single person came and said ‘I heard you on the radio and decided I wanted to come see your show’”
That’s how I & they feel about it. I know you know, from playing on Unca’s Jamband Junciton radio show, in KC, what that is like. How it’s gratifying if you reach just one person and they actually took the time to listen & say if they liked it.

This new band of Steve Kimock’s Crazy Engine is already booked to play at Wakarusa Festival this June at the new location at Mulberry Mountain, Arkansas. They’re also hoping on a date for Fayetteville proper but that is not confirmed yet.
High Res Picture of Kimock’s new band,
[12]
FWD: Steve Kimock on guitars, plus the legendary Hammond B3 player, Melvin Seals, best known for his work with the Jerry Garcia Band. The glistening new line up also includes the cookin’ rhythm section of Janis Wallin on bass (Family Groove Company) and Kimock’s own son, John Morgan Kimock on drums. Rounding out the configuration with their soulful crooning are “The Girls” on vocals, featuring Cheryl Rucker and Shirley Starks (Melvin Seals and JGB).
