Zoom Zoom
i don’t know why
but i took too much
i took way too much
i couldn’t get enough
and it was strange
to roll around
on the forest ground
all night long
there came a beat
and it came kickin’ in
and it kept us warm
although the wind was strong
and we were strong
we were hanging out
we were hanging in
we were inside out
whisper then wander in
whisper and wander in
i grabbed my flute
and i played a tune
i don’t know what it was
but it sure fit my mood
and i could catch my breath
before it could get away
i was faster than a blue jay
and i was lookin’ up
them tall redwood trees
like looking up the skirt
of my destiny
i don’t know why
i took too much
i took way too much
i’ll never get enough
=={ JAM }===
the forest is filled with mystery
from underneath the ground to the top of the canopy
the forest is filled with mystery
from underneath the ground to the top of the canopy
and from the top of the tree you can see the sea
and down by the sea you can see the trees
at the top of the tree you can be who you wanna be
there’s a valley hiding in between
yeah the valley is good for travelling
yeah the valley is good for travelling
yeah the valley is good for travelling ( travelling travelling )
Especially when you’re whisperin’ and wander in
( travellin’ travellin’ travellin’ travellin’ )
Especially when you whisper and wander in
( travellin’ travellin’ travellin’ travellin’ )
( yeah the valley is good for travelling )
( travellin’ travellin’ travellin’ travellin’ )
whisper and wander in
whisper and wander in

verse: G F C#dim C
chorus: Fm G# A#7 repeat, then A# G C D, then back to verse G F C#dim C
I thought it was “wandering” since he is talking about traveling, but I don’t know if it is “whispering…” or “whisper and…” or what.

I think the verse resolves in a D7 rather than a C….iIve been playing along with the song on piano and the C just doesn’t sound right. Coming from the C#dim I just drop my finger on the left side of each hand down one key to get the D7. So the D7 chord I am playing is made up of the single notes (from left to right) d-F#-c. This to me sounds right on!
Jam and Outro goes back and forth between Fm and A#

Although a D7 chord does have a C in it, the D7 doesn’t sound right. The resolution is definitely C# dim to C major.
