I had a dream
the other night
about you and me,
we were wild
the king and queen of a desert isle
the were blue skies
and no doubts
we had sunshine rolling out
bees dripped honey on my tongue
birds layed fruits upon my palm
ba ba ba, ah ba ba ba, ba, ba, ba ba baa,
i was dumb,
the cat caught
and killed my tongue,
you were right,
my bark is better than my bite.
while the sun,
tries to steal,
the way of stars,
to seal the deal
and im teachin little birds the words to tell you how i feel.

and the sun is a symphony
sinking silenty
and we, are stars.
the night is ours.
we could howl
if them birds dont show us how
to sing like them
well have them foxes for our friends
we’ll run in packs
beneath the spotlight moon
and the pollinatin bats (bit the midnight fruits?)
and im teachin little birds the words to tell you what i feel.
