The refrain of this song (“I’m down in a hole…”) has to be one of Trevor’s greatest songwriting achievements. He builds up the tension to it so well and releases it perfectly. If only the song went into the refrain more than once…

Make those D’s Dm, play it up really high on the neck (Gm is on the 10th fret, Bb on the 13th, F on the 8th, and Dm on the 8th). I’ll check the bridge tomorrow.
