The Garden (Part I) mp3 >
Hound dog was a great companion
Watched over my home
Kept the deer outside my garden
Earned himself a bone
Bones them bones
You better put ‘em in the garden
Out there by the rose bush
In the corner to the north
Bones them bones
Let the green grass grow around them
And don’t you tell a soul
Until you’re very old.

I’ve found that for a while, the first lines of GI weren’t sung ( I don’t know if they had been written or not) and only the chorus was sung. See 10-20-01, 2-18-01. They also do a sweet little intro jam before going into the classic first chords for GI. Anyone else notice this?
