Sea Monkey’s
Sea monkeys
Where did ya come from
I got you from the pond scum
Out on my reservoir
Sea monkeys
You’re my favorite creature
My favorite little creature
In the whole wide world
You used to have some duckweed
But then it died
You got no place to run to you got no place to hide
Microscopic packages of love
Monkey boots and bolo ties
Are lodged beneath the mud
Handfuls of households
Swimming in the mire
Beside them old spare tires
Left there many years ago
People come
people they go
Yeah
But sea monkeys they’re always there
If you’re watching them you just may see the show
Go go go
To and fro
Across my bowl
Go go go
I love you so
Come on come on!
Yeah give me a show
Sea monkeys
Where did ya come from
I got you from my pond scum
Out on my reservoir
Sea monkeys
You’re my favorite creature
My favorite little creature
In the whole wide world
Whole
Wide
Whole wide world
Whole
Wide
In the whole wide world

There has been some question about the spelling of the title. My take on it is that this is a kid singing about his sea monkeys, hence the misspelling. But I left incorrect apostrophe out of the lyric body.

The title implies ownership by the Sea Monkeys although the object of ownership is not mentioned.
The A B E A F#m is all pretty straightforward, but I sure wish I had the time and the skill to tab out the middle-end where it becomes much more complex than IV-V-I-ii
