Motorcycle
The country’s plain and the sky is brown
All around is the sound
of motorcycles riding into the night
Magic flight, alright
This dust can fool even an ironhorse
I cannot penetrate it with my electric torch
I’m gonna see my baby, gonna make that lady ready to ride
yeaah yeaah ooohhh yeaah
Below the Battle Mountain there’s a pile of stone
all alone and it sings
Sounds like a fiddle and dances just like a drum
for everyone on the run
Singing, this dust can fool even an iron horse
I cannot penetrate it with my electric torch
I’m gonna see my baby, gonna make that lady ready to ride
Oh yeah
She’s so pretty I think I’m losing my mind all the time
With her arms around me I’m gonna go for a ride
At least we’re gonna try
Singing, this dust can fool even an iron horse
I cannot penetrate it with my electric torch
I’m gonna see my baby, gonna make that lady ready to ride
Oh yeah

If it really is about Nevada, I would say that the line “below the bad ole mountain theres a pile of stone” is actually “below the battle mountain theres a pile of stone”, referring to the town Battle Mountain. Just a thought

You’re right caliskier. I revised the lyrics transcript above to reflect that, Battle Mountain. Check it out, it makes the middle verse really cool and geographically musical.
Below the Battle Mountain there’s a pile of stone all alone and it sings
Sounds like a fiddle and dances just like a drum for everyone on the run
Here’s a good Trevor solo, acoustic guitar

Such a great lil Tbone tune!
