Seventh story, heavens window
there’s a shadows that’s been spread
and her eyes are looking down
catching the last rays of sunshine
The nights are getting cold here
and her mood is only patchwork
not much against this winters chill
oh, the darkness stands
Ghosts howling and midnight coyotes
are getting closer every night

With the wind as a reason
sunlight four o clock
she’s been pulling electrical wires
didn’t pay the bill so she wouldn’t get shocked
So she can let her hair down

til someone comes to save her
she’ll be pulling electrical wires
all day long until she’s tired
